Event Overview
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, we were honored to welcome faculty, students, and staff from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tamkang University for an official visit and exchange.
This exchange was designed to give the industry-academia representatives and students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tamkang University a close-up observation of Zongwei Industrial's leading precision machining technology, mold development, automated production, and enterprise management practices; guided by distinguished alumni, to realize the transfer of critical technical expertise, and to jointly explore future trends in intelligent manufacturing.
The visit by Tamkang University's Mechanical Engineering faculty and students brought theoretical mechanics and mechanical design coursework into a real industrial setting. Zongwei Industrial demonstrated the rigorous tolerance control in precision mold manufacturing, and how precision injection mold design is used to resolve complex material dynamics challenges. We emphasized how engineers leverage data feedback during the one-stop mold development process to optimize production efficiency, embodying the core management philosophy of a smart factory.
Automated Craftsmanship and Technical Observation
During the visit, the students went deep into the production core, directly observing how precision molds are transformed from digital designs into high-precision finished products, and were highly impressed by Zongwei Industrial's vertical integration capabilities on its automated production lines.
Tailored to the mechanical engineering background of the visitors, Zongwei's technical team provided a detailed demonstration of the multi-axis collaborative precision of 5-axis CNC machining equipment in the production of precision machining molds. The all-electric injection molding machines in live operation further demonstrated exceptional command over energy consumption and product quality. This is the core competitiveness of high-quality plastic injection molding, allowing the visiting guests to witness Zongwei's relentless technical pursuit of excellence in the fields of plastic injection molding and mold manufacturing.
