The visit by faculty and students from the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) brought invaluable academic perspectives on emerging materials applications to GDI. In the field of plastic injection molding, the rheological properties and crystallization kinetics of materials are critical determinants of product quality. Through this exchange, our guests had the opportunity to observe firsthand how GDI overcomes the challenges of processing high-performance engineering plastics during plastic injection molding, leveraging advanced injection mold design and runner optimization techniques.

We showcased precision molds crafted via 5-axis CNC machining and demonstrated how our all-electric injection machines achieve micron-level control over material forming parameters.
