Annual Fire Safety Drill

To strengthen all employees' awareness of disaster prevention, emergency response capabilities, and workplace safety, we conducted the "2025 First-Half Fire Safety and First Aid Training." The training program was comprehensive, covering the complete workflow from fire prevention and emergency notification to initial firefighting and first aid bandaging, with enthusiastic participation from all staff.

[The Invisible Foundation of Stable Production and Precision Craftsmanship]
At Zongwei Industrial, workplace safety is not merely a legal obligation — it is the foremost priority in ensuring the stability of our precision mold manufacturing operations. Through regular disaster prevention training, we ensure that in the event of an emergency, our all-electric injection molding machines and 5-axis CNC machining lines receive the most appropriate response, minimizing production risk and fulfilling our high-efficiency commitment to the global supply chain.

Balancing Theory and Practice: Mastering Critical Life-Saving Skills

This training session featured professional instructors and was structured into two core modules: "Theoretical Instruction" and "Hands-On Drills":

1. Fire Extinguisher Operation Training (P.A.S.S. Method)

During the firefighting drill, employees received in-depth instruction on the proper use of dry powder fire extinguishers. The instructor emphasized the well-known "P.A.S.S." method:

  • P (Pull) - Pull: Pull out the safety pin.
  • A (Aim) - Aim: Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire.
  • S (Squeeze) - Squeeze: Squeeze the handle to discharge.
  • S (Sweep) - Sweep: Sweep side to side across the fire.

Under the guidance of the instructor, employees personally operated fire extinguishers in a simulated firefighting exercise, gaining a solid understanding of the technique and key precautions.

[A Risk Management Culture in Precision Manufacturing]
This insistence on "correct procedures" mirrors Zongwei's rigorous approach to injection mold design. By mastering the P.A.S.S. method, each employee becomes not only a safety responder but also a critical line of defense ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality plastic injection molding operations — from mold development to mass production delivery, we leave no safety blind spot unaddressed.

2. Emergency Notification and Response Procedures

The course provided a detailed analysis of the response mechanism during a fire emergency. In addition to immediately alerting nearby colleagues by shouting "Fire!", employees were required to familiarize themselves with the key information to relay when calling emergency services (e.g., address, fire status, number of persons trapped), in order to minimize response time.

3. Fire-Rated Roll-Up Doors and First Aid Skills

Beyond basic firefighting and notification procedures, this training also incorporated broader occupational safety content. The instructor demonstrated the correct operation of fire-rated roll-up doors within the facility, including the emergency manual descent procedure. In addition, a "Basic First Aid and Bandaging" module was arranged, enabling employees to learn how to perform preliminary hemostasis and wound dressing before professional medical personnel arrive, buying critical time for lives.

Building a Safe Workplace Together: Our Shared Responsibility

"Employees are our company's most valuable asset, and workplace safety is an absolute baseline we will never compromise. Through regular fire safety training, we hope every employee not only knows how to protect themselves, but can also demonstrate the spirit of mutual support at critical moments, collectively safeguarding our work environment."

This Fire Safety and First Aid Training concluded successfully with the active participation of all employees. Going forward, Zongwei Industrial will continue to implement comprehensive occupational health and safety education, committed to building a high-quality workplace where every employee can work with confidence and peace of mind.
